No data protection officer has been appointed; the statutory conditions under Art. 37 GDPR / section 38 BDSG are not met.

2. What this website is

hexbau.de is a purely informational website about the HexBau software. There is no registration, no login, no customer account and no processing of project data here. The HexBau application itself runs on a dedicated instance per project and carries its own privacy policy there; for customers, a data processing agreement governs the processing.

The animated construction site on the start page runs entirely in your browser. It loads files from this server only and transmits nothing.

3. Server log files

When you access the website, data is transmitted automatically and recorded by the server: IP address, date and time, the resource requested, status code, volume of data transferred, referrer and user agent.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure and trouble-free operation of the website. The logs are rotated continuously, the oldest being deleted in the process, and the total volume held stays fixed. We do not analyse them, combine them with other data, or build profiles from them.

4. Hosting

The website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany; the servers are located in Germany. Hetzner acts as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR. No transfer to a third country takes place.

5. No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no cookies, embeds no third-party services, and uses no analytics, tracking or advertising tools. Fonts are served from our own server. There is therefore no need for consent and no cookie banner.

6. Contacting us and the contact form

If you contact us by email, by telephone or through the contact form on the start page, we process your details (name, company, telephone number, email address, message) solely to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry is aimed at a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The contact form transmits your details encrypted to our server at Hetzner in Germany. There they are stored and delivered to our business mailbox. To prevent abuse, the server keeps the sender's IP address in memory for one hour; it is not stored with the enquiry. We delete the data once your enquiry has been dealt with conclusively and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Our business mailboxes are operated by Heinlein Hosting GmbH (mailbox.org), Schwedter Str. 8/9b, 10119 Berlin, Germany.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). To exercise them, contact info@hexworld.eu.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Saxon Commissioner for Data Protection and Transparency, Maternistrasse 17, 01067 Dresden.
